Zoe Siu graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in fashion design in 2007. Migrating into accessories design from a background in denim at DKNY JEANS and LEVIS, she indulged herself in knotting skills. Meanwhile she decided to establish the modern sophisticated accessories brand ZO-EE in 2011. It ingeniously plays with knotting and handcrafted ropework techniques, blending colored strings, ropes and metals. She transforms them into a high quality artful pieces. Fusing contemporary structure with craftsmanlike details, it evokes the interesting clash between the traditional and modern elements. Every piece embodies the aesthetic texture and is handcrafted with love and care. ZO-EE products are stocked in Hong Kong, Taipei, Macau, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Chengdu.

ZO-EE was founded in 2011 by Zoe Siu, a Hong Kong-based jewelry designer who celebrates an independent and handmade design ethos. In 2014, Zoe created the ZOEE Accessories Select Shop to showcase an international community of quality independent designers. The shop is envisioned as a platform for sharing, not only between independent designers from around the world, but also with the wider public, who are introduced to a variety of brand philosophies and craftsmanship behind the designs.

 

Zoe is passionated about promoting the art of knotting. She was invited to organize workshops to develop people's interest in the traditional art of knotting. Her workshop was once held at different international brands launch events like Germany sterling silver brand THOMAS SABO, Japanese brand MIKIMOTO, 45R, Finnish brand MARIMEKKO. Some ZO-EE individual workshops were also held in Hong Kong and Macau. In 2013, she was selected to be one of Hong Kong representative designers to do the exhibition in Belgium.
